The play Prima Facie, by Australian playwright Suzie Miller, directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca and starring Melissa Vettore, with set design by Matteo Verlicchi, music by Maria Bonzanigo, and video design by Roberto Vitalini, premiered on Wednesday, June 3, at the Teatro Sociale in Bellinzona as the opening performance of the Territori Festival.
The production captivated the audience, who welcomed the company with a warm standing ovation and prolonged applause.
Before the performance, Daniele Finzi Pasca engaged with the audience in a discussion, addressing some of the play’s central themes and offering food for thought on the issues the work brings to the stage.
After touring numerous Italian theaters, including those in Rome, Turin, and Milan, the show arrived in Bellinzona, once again confirming its status as one of the most intense and acclaimed productions of the theater season.
In the 2026/2027 season, Prima Facie will return to the stage at the LAC in Lugano in March.
Don’t miss the chance to see an intense and deeply relevant performance!
