The Jean-Rivard Park in Montreal, located in the City of the Arts and the Circus, between the Cirque du Soleil and the Ecole Nationale du Cirque, will bear the name of Julie Hamelin Finzi, co-founder of the Compagnia Finzi Pasca. She passed away two years ago at the age of 43. The executive committee of the City of Montréal made this decision within the Toponymie project, which pays tribute to great people of the city. A commemorative plaque will be placed in the Julie Hamelin Park.
