TITIZÉ – A VENETIAN DREAM – City of Venice’s official show “Our clownery has always been intimately linked to tradition and has echoes of the language of the Commedia dell’Arte. We produce shows in which we immerse multidisciplinary performers in rarefied universes where wonder is sometimes naive, sometimes ingenious, sometimes surreal. Reflections in the water, the hazy blur when the clouds descend lower and lower, and the mythical game of masquerade that reminds us of cloaking in order to reveal oneself and then reveal oneself again: the three magical movements that magicians and shamans know and have passed down. There will be the night and its madness, the antics of jesters, objects that levitate, acrobats that fly, surreal rain and a continuous recreation of impossible balance.
