DESCRIPTION:“When the Cirque du Soleil approaches creators it asks them to venture into new scenographic and narrative territories. (…) We started from stereotypes… in order to overturn them. Ubiquitous slowness? We replaced it with speed – that of the Tarahumara\, a Mexican people who live in the mountains and can run up to 200 kilometres non-stop\, barefoot or wearing light sandals. Speed thus becomes an interesting element in circus language too\, with its quest for extreme performance\, thanks to magnificent acrobats and gymnasts drawn from around the world. E la storia avvolgerà piano piano lo spettatore\, la storia di un libro regalato\, di un giardino da costruire\, di una lotta come le lotte che tutti prima o poi dovremo vivere e affrontare.\nJulie credeva che ognuno dovesse cercare di costruire un giardino interiore dove andare a rifugiarsi\, dove accogliere chi si ama\, quelli che si sono persi e quelli che si vorrebbero scoprire.\nRacconteremo dunque la storia di una panchina e di un giardino\, poi ci sarà la fragilità che ognuno di noi difende con armature e corazze. Ci sarà la leggerezza del ricordo delle sue risate\, dei suoi libretti pieni di calcoli e di annotazioni\, i suoi consigli e i suoi sogni.\nÈ la missione di ogni vita cercare di costruire un giardino interiore dove andare a rifugiarsi\, dove accogliere chi si ama\, quelli che si sono persi\, quelli che si vorrebbero incontrare in un luogo intimo e riservato.
