“The reunion of two friends, raised in the same neighbourhood of a city that God has placed at the borders of the world: La Paz. Life for Cassandra, interpreted by Dolores, has been a constant escape, a constant discovery of new lands, stories. For the other it has been staying still and losing oneself in a pain of antique origins, connected to the times of her childhood. Afrodita, interpreted by Ana, closes herself in silence and strays away from life.  A game saves them, with a little clown acting as an intermediary between the two. By playing and pretending to be a little dwarf she transforms into a character that is closer to the vision of her friend. She enters in her dimension, she even becomes smaller to go back to the world of childhood, from which all ghosts are created and emerge.”

“Love is a long agony, we are all trapped in a madness that brings us to suffer in order to feel alive. This ruffled and tragic way of pretending to be heroes, only because we believe we are suffering, makes me feel at home just as I feel at home in a circus, in which everyone, even the animals, are wearing masks and pretend to be what they are. Te amo talks about the friendship between two women, a friendship sealed by a sibling type of love, full of complicity and tenderness. The story is nice and light like the simple things are. Life for Cassandra, interpreted by Dolores, has been a constant escape, a constant discovery of new lands, stories. For the other it has been staying still and losing oneself in a pain of antique origins, connected to the times of her childhood. Afrodita, interpreted by Ana, closes herself in silence and strays away from life. Her room becomes her universe and staying awake the instrument to avoid that the ghost that populate her dreams come near her.

Afrodita plunges into a deep and tragic silence that erases memory, that furthers her away from the past and the recollections. Upon her return, the first woman finds herself orphan of all her past, of her roots, of her story. The silence of her friend makes her fall into the same spiral, the same sadness. A game saves them, with a little clown acting as an intermediary between the two. By playing and pretending to be a little dwarf she transforms into a character that is closer to the vision of her friend. She enters in her dimension, she even becomes smaller to go back to the world of childhood, from which all ghosts are created and emerge.” A friend who is a psychiatrist that helps those affected by depression describes his job as such: as a whale hunt. A dance to attempt to approach the creature that can go on for a very long time. To hunt the whale, not to kill it, but to manage to touch it and to look in one of its mysterious eyes. A game like a dance to build a trust that will allow us to stop always escaping into the deep ocean that we carry in our hearts.

On scene two sisters that interpret two friends. Dolores has the task of accompanying Ana in the theatrical game. To conduct her in a game of initiation that will allow her to discover her strengths, her beauty, her dreams. Suspended between Ana’s universe and the audience, Dolores is interpreter and narrator of the show. Like a Virgil she takes Ana by the hand and transports her in the story, while keeping at the same time a look of complicity with the audience.”
